After Kristin’s Bridal Portraits in Downtown Pensacola, I was so excited to see her as a bride at her Scenic Hills Country Club Wedding. Kristin and Will have been behind my lens a few times for engagements, and for Kristin, bridals and gradation with her masters. They’re honestly just a blast which was evidenced in their wedding day.

I had never shot at Scenic Hills before, but I LOVE a good golf course wedding. Rolling hills of green to catch the sunset, a beautiful view, and most definitely a gorgeous interior, every time. As the bridesmaids and groomsmen were getting ready you could feel the excitement bubbling up inside. I won’t put anyone on blast, but I may or may not have heard some Fergie coming from the groomsmen room.

First Touch

Kristin and Will opted for a first touch as opposed to a first look and I could see the anxiety fall away from their faces as they head the other person’s voice. The large oak tree offered plenty of shade as the two shared some sweet words and finally tucked away before the ceremony.

Once the reception kicked off, the guests sat around the bonfire, mingled, danced, and enjoyed some delicious food. The DJ kept things rolling and people moving all night long. Once everyone shuffled outside to end the night, the couple ended with a last dance. If you’re getting married and not sure what a last dance is, I highly recommend one. It’s a short and sweet way to end the night alone and just soak in all of the romance and blur of a day together. The couple ended the night with the cutest heart-shaped sparklers and in their getaway car.
