When it comes to the sunset on Pensacola Beach, you can’t beat it for your family photoshoot. Jordan and Jon are no stranger to my camera, I photographed their maternity shoot what seems like so recently, and now their beautiful baby, Forrest is growing so fast. It was time for an update on family photos. Often, the newborn phase is complete chaos and I don’t blame anyone for waiting until a little later for an update. After all, babies are sitting up on their own, laughing, smiling, and developing their personalities so much after 6 months.

Jordan went all out and got her hair and makeup done by THE BEST of Pensacola, Haley Gurney with Gulf Coast Glam House. She looked absolutely stunning upon arrival. I was so excited to get as much photographed as I could before our time was up and the sun was going down. In the fall and winter months, you lose daylight quickly and sometimes working through the sunset can feel rushed. But this sweet family made it so easy, Forrest was happy to be playing in the sand. The waves were crashing. We even got some photos of them taking in all of the wildlife and nature around them. Like I said, Pensacola Beach Family photos are unbeatable, especially this time of year. Even as locals, it was so cool seeing the fishermen, the heron who tagged along for the Photoshoot, and the seashells. Sometimes it’s important to take a step back and remind ourselves how lucky we are to live here.
