Abby won the Bestie Photoshoot in Pensacola Beach for my Instagram Giveaway a few months ago! After lots of coordinating we finally made the day happen and the beach was seriously glowing perfection. Flat as a lake, crystal clear water, and the shining sun was all a paid actor in this perfection. Not to mention, I just got my Aquatech gear and was so pumped to give it a go with them!

Mid-Day Magic

When people ask me why I love photography in the full sun, the photos below sum it up. I could just live in these rich, saturated colors forever. They make me feel so happy and bring back all of the beach day memories I live for.

Beach Day Photo Props

I packed up some bubbles, cute towels, a giant beach ball (that tried to run away twice) and the cutest floatie EVER! It was filled with confetti and made the coolest effects on my camera. If you love it as much as I do you can grab it here! CUTE CONFETTI FLOATIE

If you’re doing a mid-day shoot, a few props and accessories can really add to the vibrant colors at play and add some contrast. Typically, since we’re surrounded by so much blue, green and white with the water and sand.. I like to add in oranges, reds, yellows and purples. It just adds in another dynamic and really sets off the finished look. Also, make sure you bring your sunglasses because looking toward the sun is going to give your photographer the most vibrant colors!

I also added this new prism to my bag of tricks (I call it my party pack). I loved the results and played around with it while photographing the shoreline and the palm trees! If you’re on the hunt for a prism, I’d start with this one. The holes for the hand make it so easy to shoot with and it isn’t as complicated to use as I anticipated!
