Sessions like this one hit differently. Before I was a photographer, I was a 5^th grade teacher, and Allison was one of my students. Even back then, her beauty radiated from the inside out. I will never get over being able to be present in a former student’s life, now as their photographer for their senior pictures. We started Allison’s at one of my favorite spots-DUH in downtown Pensacola. If you haven’t been to DUH, this is your sign to go. Not just for the foliage and flowers, which make a great setting to any photo session, but also for the shopping. DUH is a multifaceted store with shopping for men and women, as well as indoor and outdoor furniture and decor. Outside the building is an ideal backdrop for a DUH Pensacola senior session!

Golden Hour

After our pictures at DUH, we went to Pensacola Beach for golden hour. One of my favorite things about taking pictures on the beach is that you never know what kind of wildlife you’ll see. During Allison’s shoot, there were tons of stingrays in the water! Allison is a natural, so her effortless charm shines through all of her pictures. In true senior tradition, I also made sure to get a few shots of her and her mom. Capturing these sweet moments is something I will forever be grateful for.  Allison has changed and grown in so many ways. She is a senior at Gulf Breeze High School and a cheer captain, but she is also still the same sweet, soft spoken 10-year-old I knew all those years ago. Congratulations, Allison, and thank you for letting me continue to be part of your life!
