As a Fort Pickens Family Photographer, I get the joy of capturing some of life’s most beautiful chapters—and this session with Brittany was one that truly radiated happiness. Brittany is sunshine from the inside out, and her daughter, Bristol shares that same bright spirit. From the moment they arrived, their energy lit up the beach, and it was clear this family is in a season of newfound joy.

This session was even more special because Brittany’s boyfriend, Tim, and his daughter, Kailyn, joined us. Watching this new chapter of their lives come together was heartwarming—there was such a natural connection between all four of them. We had originally scheduled the session for a different day, but when we learned Kailyn would be leaving for Air Force bootcamp the very next morning, we quickly rearranged to make sure she could be part of the photos. It turned into the perfect opportunity to celebrate family before she embarked on her new journey. I was so honored to be able to photograph their last night together! Kailyn was also hilarious because I could tell she did not love taking photos and that completely resonates with me!
