Lena knew she wanted her senior pictures on Pensacola Beach from the get go. I was stoked to photograph her senior photos because she was a ton of fun during soccer pictures and just hyped everyone up in the best way.
We opted for Fort Pickens National Park on Pensacola Beach. We started at the fort but didn’t stay too long because Lena knew she wanted a focus on nature and the dunes side of the session. She perfectly followed the style guide and had the most adorable outfits that complemented the scenery so beautifully.
I try to encourage all of my seniors to bring props. Bring your medals you’ve earned, bring your letterman jacket, bring the college flag they sent you with an acceptance letter. It adds a layer of variety to your images and allows for free-flowing poses that don’t feel as awkward. Not to mention, your senior pictures should be all about the memories!
Of course, Lena’s sister came along to assist with holding her items and was a true MVP for us! They wanted a few photos at the end of her session and it was a perfect way to end the evening!
