When it comes to throwing a backyard wedding, it only makes it better if you’ve got a beautiful backdrop such as the Pensacola Bay. Liv and Cole had the perfect vision of a coastal vibe, laid back guests and one heck of a party. The incredible vendor team knocked it out of the park. I can truly say Liv and Cole had the time of their lives and their guests will be talking about the event for years to come.

All the Vibes

When talking with Liv beforehand, she told me how passionate she was about the look of film and how she wanted me to photograph with it as much as possible. I LOVE using film so I was so excited. I was able to shoot 7 rolls of Portra 400, Ektar 100, and I even experimented with Dubble Film for the first time. It was a blast!

Backyard Wedding Boat Ride

One of my favorite things a couple can do is something special and unique that truly represents themselves. Liv told me they were taking a boat from their ceremony to their reception and their bridal party would be riding along.

Their bridal party hopped on, popped a bottle of champagne and we were on our way. It was great for the couple and the bridal party to get their own party started before heading into cocktail hour.

Making a Splash

At the end of the night, Liv and Cole did a getaway exit on their boat with sparklers. Then, to everyone’s surprise- they jumped into the pool! So many of their guests decided to join them. It was a night that will never be forgotten. Liv and Cole- I love that you lived in the moment and went for it. These memories are some of the best I have from a wedding and I loved seeing you live your best lives! Wishing you many years of marriage and happiness.
