I knew Seaside would be the perfect location for Emily when she told me she wanted to be in her “coastal Grandma era”. Vibrant colors, floods of sunshine, and an easy going vibe are exactly what Seaside and Emily both gave us during this senior session. Whether it was walking around the shops at Seaside, or sitting outside by the food trucks, there were plenty of places that catered to the aesthetic that Emily wanted. Relaxed, yet refined. Casual, yet elevated.
Seaside reminds me of Diane Keaton in “Something’s Gotta Give”. The all white aesthetic, pops of color, and coastal side is the perfect place to throw on a chunky sweater, some linen pants in the fall, and lean into your coastal grandma era. Not to mention Sundog books was on her list of places to go which is the most adorable bookstore ever.
Whether you’re going for Coastal Grandma, edgy, sporty, or anything else, what’s most important is that you lean into what feels right for you for your senior session. Check out her images below!
