When searching for a venue in the Florida Panhandle, you can’t go wrong with a Pensacola Country Club wedding. Olivia and Christian set the date and knew exactly what they wanted from their day. They wanted the day to flow naturally, a heavy amount of documentary style photos and minimal posing. Their attitude going into the day was to live in the moment. I wouldn’t expect anything less from a couple who’s entrance song is “Cheeseburger in Paradise” coming from one Parrot Head to another.

Family Centered

It was evident that Olivia and Christian have incredibly tight-knit families. I had the privilege of photographing the rehearsal dinner at Grand Marlin the night before the wedding. As Christian’s mother spoke about the couple’s relationship there were several tears among the group. That is until his Mom and Dad broke out into a revised version of Sonny and Cher’s “I Got You Babe” which led to an outburst of song and smiles. Gifts were exchanged on the morning of the wedding before the day took off to the couple and their moms.

Spirit of Celebration

Olivia and Christian’s families love a celebration. They had a bottle of wine saved for their wedding from a trip they went on to Croatia, which speaks to the adventurous and exciting life they’re building together.

Olivia’s family tradition is to take a shot of Patron for a celebration. Needless to say, there was no shortage of celebrating that night. The groomsmen and mates of honor (Olivia’s brothers) busted out the light up suspenders and bow ties and passed out glowing styrofoam props to the guests. By the end of the night, this Pensacola Country Club wedding was full of neon lights, dancing, and a whole lot of love.
