Liv and Cole were a sight to see at their Kaiya Beach engagement session. But, this wasn’t the original plan. Liv and Cole were in town on Blue Angels weekend for their engagement party and a week full of fun, but the weather just seemed to rain, rain and rain some more. We rescheduled probably three times, and I was starting to get a little worried. They were set to go back to Tampa in a few days and the forecast looked dark.
Since I was driving to 30A anyway for another family photoshoot, I thought I’d throw the idea out there to see if they were willing to make the drive to Kaiya Beach. They were down! The day of their session came and there was a red cell hanging over Pensacola Beach. But it would be clear in 30A by the time their session needed to start. Liv and Cole arrived and had complete trust in me. I say this because I told them to arrive at an incomplete resort which was under construction with tractors all over the property. They arrived with big smiles and no questions asked- they knew the photos would be awesome. Liv and Cole were so easy-going and put me at ease, even though I feel like that’s my job!
Once we were finished up at Kaiya, we decided to head over to Inlet Beach to finish up the session. It was a double red flag that day, but it added some incredible dimension to their photographs. Not to mention, it cleared out most of the crowd which is rare for this time of year at public beaches in the 30A area. By the time they left, Liv and Cole had soaked clothes on their way to dinner, but I think it was definitely worth it.
