Ever since I started taking on more weddings, I’ve wanted to do a Greenhouse Engagement Photoshoot in Pensacola. I’d seen a few ideas on Instagram and I wanted to make this dream come true. When it comes to engagement photos, more and more couples are wanting to step outside of the box and go for a little bit more of an exotic look, and I’m HERE FOR IT! So, when Kristin and Will approached me about wedding and engagement photos, I gave out the idea and they loved it. In addition, they had a packed schedule the weekend we were shooting and we would be shooting at high noon. I knew the two locations we chose might offer up a challenge with lighting but I was so pumped to get there and see this gorgeous couple SLAY their engagement photos. They did not disappoint!

Pensacola Seed and Garden Greenhouse

For the record, people with greenhouses are not easy to get in touch with during the spring season- rightfully so. They’re busy and I was asking them about doing a photoshoot in the middle of spring when everything is gorgeous and in bloom. After a few tries, I decided to go check out a few locations on my own. I fell in love with Pensacola Seed and Garden. They offered a huge variety of luscious and exotic plants, blooms, flowers, and indoor/ outdoor garden areas. I knew this was it. I asked about photographing and all they asked was to not come on a Saturday. Done.

I mean, the variety, the colors and florals just make this couple pop off the page. I love every single photo we took.

Daytime in Downtown Pensacola

Even though the Greenhouse Engagement Photoshoot in Pensacola knocked our socks off, we wanted to add variety to the session. We headed downtown and got some more gorgeous photos. Even though there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and it was high noon, we got some incredible photographs. A pro-tip as a photographer, if you’re in a stitch and can have fun with the shoot, have your clients throw on a pair of sunglasses and make it a vibe!
