I’ve mentioned before how much I love being in Navarre Beach as a Family Photographer. I typically work in the Pensacola Beach are, but Navarre definitely has a place in my heart because it’s my old stomping ground. The variety can be seen on the soundside as well as the Gulf Side and it’s always such a gorgeous location spot.

The Clients that Click

I met the Mandy Villines through a former coworker, Amy Weaver. She worked at the school I was teaching at and referred me out to everyone she knew after I photographer her son’s senior pictures. She has been such a cheerleader for business and I don’t truly think I’ll ever be able to repay her! Mandy was such a joy to photograph in Orange Beach with her husband and we just clicked, so she inquired asking if I could serve in the capacity of a Navarre Beach Family Photographer for her session! I was so excited to meet her family and knew they would be such a great time.

Aging with Grace

Some people get a little nervous when there’s no littles in the session to be photographed. After all, small children steal the show. You can ask them to race, play “Ring around the Rosie” or make silly faces. The time goes by easily. When you’re photographing an older family, especially at the beach, a lot of people freeze up with posing. But, you don’t have to treat it much differently. We got photos of the entire family, the sisters and the couples. Then, we walked along the soundside for some amazing candid shots. Please don’t feel like you need to hold off on family photos because your kids are older. It’s all the more reason to get them updated!
