The Kuster Family was visiting all the way from Wisconsin for family vacation. They wanted to book a 30A Family Photographer and get photos done at Grayton Beach State Park because of the lack of high rise buildings and gorgeous views. If you’ve never been to Grayton Beach, it’s only $4.00 and it’s the perfect balance of naturescapes and beach. There are the coolest trees you’ll ever see heading back into the dunes and it’s a wonderful spot for sunset.

It turns out, Hurlburt Field was having an event in Destin that I totally missed and I got stuck in dead stop traffic about halfway. I was stressing to the MAX! To the point I called another 30A Family Photographer who is a great friend and asked her to be on standby. Luckily, the Kuster family was just the coolest and so patient. The traffic between Destin and Rosemary Beach and be unpredictable, but the photoshoots always pay off. Trust me.

The Sweetest Family

When I got there, the kids were a little wiped out from a long day at the beach. But it was honestly the perfect opportunity for them to chill for a little bit in the van while I slowly made my way to Grayton Beach. The kids were so polite and followed directions so well, so our session went easy and fast. This is amazing since I was afraid we may run out of light. We didn’t! Golden hour was upon us and there were hardly any clouds so it turned out to be a perfect night.
